The world's largest crypto exchange, Binance, is significantly expanding its traditional brokerage platform, Binance Stock Trading, today at 13:30 UTC, adding 25 new listings at once.
The list is extensive, ranging from heavyweights in the logistics and defense sectors (FedEx Freight, Applied Aerospace & Defense) to complex leveraged ETFs tracking chipmaker SK Hynix. Trades will settle according to the standard T+1 cycle used in the stock market, after which investors will gain access to the Fully Paid Securities Lending (FPSL) program.
For the market, this move is more than just a technical update to the trading menu. Binance is effectively building a two-speed hub where investors are offered two opposing approaches to the same American assets.
On one side is the conservative Binance Stocks, with strict U.S. stock exchange trading hours and custodial storage of securities. On the other is the blockchain-native bStocks platform, where tokenized stocks (RWAs) in the BEP-20 standard trade around the clock, seven days a week, and are available in fractional amounts starting at just $5, directly from personal wallets.
The integration of new securities comes at a time when the exchange's decentralized arm is recording historic highs.
Anomaly of the month: Investors shift to HODLing
According to the latest metrics from the bStocks beta, the value of tokenized assets on the platform has grown by nearly a third (+29.7%) over the past 30 days, approaching a significant milestone of $753.59 million. Meanwhile, the number of holders of these assets has jumped 62% to 1.3 million users, who are actively accumulating major technology names such as SpaceX, Nvidia, and Tesla.
These statistics reveal a notable anomaly: despite the record influx of new users and the approach to the $754 million mark, monthly transfer volume within bStocks has fallen by 75% to $12.34 billion.

This clearly indicates that retail investors are moving away from using tokenized stocks for rapid intraday speculative trading. These assets are increasingly being held for the long term and locked in DeFi protocols to generate passive income through staking and lending.
The full launch of 25 new traditional stocks creates a solid foundation for further tokenization. The platform's experience suggests that the most liquid of today's new listings could soon join the current lineup of 77 RWA tokens.
